Profiles

I was born in 1999 in Grosseto (Italy). I obtained my high school diploma at the Liceo Scientifico “Guglielmo Marconi” in 2018. Then I moved to Pisa to attend the Bachelor's degree in Physics and I graduated in 2021 with a thesis on distance measurements in astronomy, under the supervision of Prof. Pier Giorgio Prada Moroni. At the same university I continued my studies with the Master's degree in Physics of the Universe. In 2024 I graduated with a thesis entitled “The hyperon-nucleon interaction in low-energy effective field theory” under the supervision of Prof. Laura Elisa Marcucci and Prof. Domenico Logoteta. In this work, which is in the field of theoretical nuclear physics, I mainly focused on developing a potential model to describe the interaction between a lambda baryon and a nucleon. My research interests include nuclear physics, compact objects and gravitational wave physics.
