The PhD Program in Physics provides a wide academic educational offer in all the disciplines described in the research section. Apart from the Courses provided directly by the PhD School, the offer is completed by seminar series and Courses borrowed from Master’s Degree Programmes of the University of Pisa and of Scuola Normale Superiore: the Teaching Commission provides each year a (non-exclusive) suggestion regarding these Courses.
First year students are required to make a proposal for their educational plan, which must include teachings completing their specific research activity and must be approved by the Teaching Commission.
Finally, the educational program is complemented by soft-skill training activities, which are suggested by the Teaching Commission among a selection of courses organized each year by the University of Pisa.
