I was born in in San Cesario di Lecce (LE) on December 1988.
I awarded my scientific High School degree with 100/100 at Liceo Scientifico C. De Giorgi, Lecce, in 2007.
In 2010 I got my Bachelor degree in Physics with 110/110 e lode at Università del Salento, with a thesis about a simplified theoretical model for the internal structure of White Dwarfs, which included a numerical solution of the resulting thermodynamic equilibrium conditions. Supervisor of the work was Prof. Giampaolo Cò.
On July 2014 I graduated in Physics with 109/110 at Università di Pisa. For my thesis I worked within the Fermi-GLAST group at INFN, Pisa, focusing mainly on the development of selection algorithms for the Large Area Telescope (LAT), a gamma-ray telescope operating on-board the Fermi Mission. The algorithms developed are the product of different multivariate analyses, performed on simulated datasets, which made use of specifically trained Classification Trees. Supervisor of the work was Luca Baldini.
Currently I am working with the Fermi group in Pisa to a measure of the high-energy cosmic-ray electron spectrum.
My interests include classical music, visual arts, science in general, sports and ancient history.
