I was born in Ancona, where I attended school. I then moved to Pisa where I obtained my bachelor's degree and my master's degree in physics.

My studies focused on particle physics: in particular, for my master thesis I performed a study of the radiation damage in the silicon vertex detector of the Belle II experiment, and a benchmark study of the projected performance of one proposed upgrade project for the Belle II vertex detector.

Presently, I am continuing my work with the Pisa group of Belle II.
