I was born in Osimo (AN) in 1998. I received my Bachelor's degree (2020) and my Master's degree (2022) from the University of Pisa. In my master thesis, I realized a diode-pumped waveguide laser based on praseodymium-doped fluoride crystals, obtaining lasing at visible wavelength.
I will study miniaturized solid-state laser sources based on rare earth doped crystals, working in the visible and the near-infrared spectrum. Different techniques will be explored for the realization of electromagnetic radiation confinement within the active medium.
