Profiles

I was born in 1997 and grew up in Kobe, Japan. I obtained my BSc degree in 2020 and MSc degree in 2022 from Okayama University. During my master's program, I worked on a thesis project focused on measuring the charge ratio and spin polarization of cosmic-ray muons in Super-Kamiokande, under the guidance of Dr. Yuuki Nakano and Prof. Yusuke Koshio. I developed a specialized simulation tool for cosmic-ray muons, specifically designed for muon decay analysis, to gain a better understanding of hadron interactions in the atmosphere. In addition to my master's program, I joined the NA61/SHINE experiment group at CERN in 2022 and conducted a measurement of hadron multiplicities produced in proton and carbon interactions for the T2K neutrino flux prediction. Currently, I am working on the Mu2e experiment at Fermilab, where I am studying track reconstruction for my PhD project. Aside from physics, I love cooking and playing baseball. Lately, I have been really into Sicilian food.
