I completed my Bachelor's at University of Delhi, India. For my Master's, I moved to Bonn, Germany where I specialized in theoretical particle physics. For my master's thesis I worked on the “Applicability of the Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) at the LHC” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Manuel Drees, in which we tested multiple BSM models and the constraints derived on their parameters against the constraints from SMEFT, to check the viability of SMEFT in BSM searches at the LHC. For my Ph.D project under the general topic “Theoretical methods for detecting new physics (NP) signals”, I will focus on the NP signals in the context of physics beyond the SM.
