Stefano Casimirri
I was born in Ascoli Piceno (Italy) in 1998. During high school I started to focus on scientific subjects, with a particular interest turned towards Physics.
After graduation in 2017, I decided to enroll in the Physics Bachelor Degree at the University of Pisa. I graduated in 2020 and then I decided to continue my academic path at the University of Pisa with a Master Degree in Matter Physics. In 2023 I graduated with an experimental Thesis entitled 'Hybrid Microcavity with CdSe/ZnS Colloidal Quantum Dots'. The experiments concerning the Thesis were performed at the National Enterprise for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (NEST) laboratory in Pisa and at the Deposition Facility of the Center for Instrument Sharing of the University of Pisa (CISUP), at the Department of Physics. In the same year I began my PHD course in Pisa based on 'Methods of fabrication and characterization of matter for quantum sciences and technologies', which represents a good opportunity to deepen my knowledge on this experimental field.
