After my classical studies at secondary high school, I did my Bachelor at University of Padua, with a thesis focused on mathematical and numerical technicalities of central force fields. Then I moved to Pisa for my Master, during which I attended various theoretical courses covering aspects of Quantum Field Theory, Particle Physics, Gravitation and Cosmology. In my master's thesis, supervised by Prof. Giovanni Marozzi and titled “deltaN Formalism and Second Order Perturbation Theory on the Light-Cone”, I have been focusing on Theoretical Cosmology. The general idea behind my work is to rely on a specific foliation of space-time, based on the so-called Geodesic Light-Cone coordinates, in order to better understand how the inhomogeneities present in the actual, observed Universe are connected to the primordial fluctuations that generated them during inflation. Thus, throughout my Ph.D. studies, I am planning to further explore the topics of my master's project, considering applications both to the primordial Universe (quantum fluctuations and inflationary correlators) and to the late-time one (cosmological observables and large scale structures).
