I was born in Verona in 1999. After graduating from Liceo Scientifico A. Messedaglia, I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Physics from the University of Trento. I then moved to Pisa, where I completed a Master’s degree in Medical Physics with a thesis entitled “Plastic-scintillator based dosimetry for minibeam radiotherapy”, under the supervision of Dr. Esther Ciarrocchi. In my Master’s research, I characterized the performance of a dosimeter consisting of a plastic scintillator sheet imaged by a CCD camera. The goal of this work was to evaluate the dosimeter response for FLASH and minibeam electron beams for radiotherapy. After graduating, I was awarded a PhD scholarship for the project “Laser–Plasma Interaction Studies Relevant for Direct-Drive Inertial Confinement Fusion”, in collaboration with CNR–INO (National Institute of Optics) and RSE S.p.A.
