I was born in 1997 in Massa and obtained my high-school diploma in Forte Dei Marmi (Liceo
Scientifico Michelangelo).
I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Physics in December 2020 at the University of Pisa.
Given my passion for subjects concerning the Cosmos, I decided to continue my path with a
physics of the Universe curriculum, during which I specialised in gravitational waves and
compact objects. During this period, I also started approaching the world of machine
I obtained my Master's degree in October 2022, with a thesis entitled 'Deep Learning for
Early Warning of Gravitational Wave Transient Signal', a project I carried out with professor
Massimiliano Razzano that aims to train a neural network to perform early detection of
gravitational signals generated by coalescences of binary neutron stars. The idea is to explore
new and faster computational approaches for detection to help Multimessenger
observations of these sources.
In the future, I plan to continue using deep learning techniques to explore different sources
of gravitational waves in the LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA collaboration and analyze prospects for
Einstein Telescope detection capabilities.
